At SWANK Beautique, we believe in full disclosure when it comes to our privacy practices. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from (the “Site”). We want you to feel safe in our community, so this Privacy Policy spells out our commitment to protect that trust. 

Personal Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”. We use to process payments, and SWANK Beautique does not store any credit card or other payment data. We collect data when you choose to share information with us by entering it on our sites or applications, through the postings that you make, and by using automated processes.


When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information

How Do We Use Personal Information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:


  • Communicate with you;

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud;

  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services;

  • Provide you with content that may be of interest to you, such as e-mail newsletters, special offers, or details regarding new products, services or upcoming events;

  • Enforce our Terms of Use; and

  • Provide customer support.


We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). We may use your personal information to develop a personal profile about you to allow us, for example, to treat you in a more personal way as part of our customer outreach, advertising and retargeting.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.  We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site -- you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

 As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Do Not Track

 Some web browsers have “Do Not Track” or similar features that allow you to tell each website you visit that you do not want User activities on that website tracked. At present, the Website does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals and consequently, the Website may continue to collect information about Users even if the browser’s “Do Not Track” feature is activated.note that we do

not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser. 


Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.


If you are a resident of the State of California, you have the right to access the personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell (a “sale” of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act [“CCPA”] is defined to include the selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, the personal information of a consumer to another business or third party for monetary or other valuable consideration). Upon receipt of such request, we must first verify your identity and place of residence before we can process the request. Your e-mail request should therefore include your current address and telephone number. Our staff will then contact you to confirm your identity through the company’s authentication practices. To ensure effective processing of the request, the information required by Data Retention of our Privacy Policy must remain up-to-date.” In compliance with the CCPA, we have, in the sections above and within the pages linked below, provided all the information required concerning the categories of personal information collected; the sources, uses, and business purpose for the personal information; and the identities and categories of third parties with access to this information.


You have a right to request deletion of personal information under the CCPA as well as a right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information To exercise your right, please contact us at the e-mail  listed above. California residents have the right to be treated in a non-discriminatory manner by us when a verified consumer is exercising privacy rights conferred by the CCPA.


An authorized agent may submit a request to know or a request to delete on behalf of a California resident, we will require that you do the following: Provide the authorized agent written and signed permission to do so and directly confirm with us that you provided the agent permission.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. 


We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.


 Our Site and applications are intended for general audiences, and we do not knowingly seek or collect personal information from children under the age of 18. The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
